SHORT PLAYLIST : HEALING THE HEART 1) How a Broken Heart Begins to Heal 2) Anxiety Often Speaks Loudly 3) Tomorrow Deserves Hope

1. How a Broken Heart Begins to Heal

A broken heart does not always heal when you stop loving someone.

Actually, it begins to heal when you finally stop abandoning yourself.

After heartbreak, it is natural to replay conversations, search for answers, and wonder what ....you could have done differently.

But there comes a moment when you have to stop looking for your healing in the hands of the person who hurt you.

Beacause,...You may never receive the apology you hoped for.

You may never get every answer.

You may never understand why someone made the choices ...they made.

And although that can be painful, your healing cannot depend on someone else finally giving you the closure you deserve.

Begin with yourself.

Stop checking what they are doing.

Stop revisiting every painful conversation.

Stop asking what you could have done ....to make someone choose you.

Instead, ask yourself:

What do I need today to feel a little stronger than I did yesterday?

Perhaps it is rest. Perhaps it is a walk, a conversation with someone you trust, or simply allowing yourself to have a good day without feeling guilty for moving forward.

Healing does not mean forgetting.

It means remembering without allowing the memory to control your future.

Your heart begins to heal when you stop waiting for the person who hurt you to repair the damage and start giving yourself the care you were hoping to receive from them.

I hope the days ahead bring you moments that remind you that your heart is still capable of joy.

As the saying goes, “The heart may break, but it also has the remarkable ability to heal.”

You have not lost your ability to love. You are simply learning to include yourself in that love.

2. Anxiety Often Speaks Loudly, but It Rarely Speaks the Truth

Anxiety can sound extremely convincing.

But just because a thought is loud does not mean it is true.

An anxious mind can turn a possibility into a certainty.

You make one mistake, and suddenly you think, “I always ruin everything.”

Someone does not respond to your message, and your mind immediately creates ten explanations.

You feel uncertain about the future, and anxiety begins telling you that everything will go wrong.

When this happens, pause and separate the fact from the fear.

The fact may be:

“I have not received an answer yet.”

The fear says:

“They must be angry with me.”

The fact may be:

“I have an important decision to make.”

The fear says:

“I am going to make the wrong choice and ruin everything.”

These are not the same thing.

When anxiety becomes loud, ask yourself:

“What do I actually know, and what am I imagining?”

Then focus on the next practical step.

You do not need to solve every possible future problem tonight.

You only need to deal with what is actually in front of you.

Anxiety often predicts the worst possible outcome.

Wisdom waits for the truth.

Heartfelt End

I hope you remember that a worried thought is not a prophecy, and uncertainty does not automatically mean something bad is coming.

As the saying goes, “Do not let your worries become tomorrow's problems...... before tomorrow arrives.”

Take one breath, focus on what is real today, and trust yourself to handle tomorrow when it comes.

3. Tomorrow Deserves Hope, Not Today's Worry

You can spend all of today worrying about tomorrow and still be completely unprepared for what tomorrow actually brings.

Many people begin the day carrying problems that have not happened yet.

They worry about a conversation that has not taken place.

They fear a decision they have not had to make.

They imagine every possible problem before knowing whether any of those problems will actually occur.

And while the mind is busy preparing for imaginary disasters, the present moment passes unnoticed.

Here is something practical you can do.

When you catch yourself worrying about the future, ask:

“Is there something I can do about this today?”

If there is, take one small action.

Make the appointment. Write down the plan. Send the message. Prepare what you can.

But if there is nothing you can do right now, give yourself permission to put the worry down.

You are not ignoring the future.

You are simply refusing to suffer through it before it arrives.

Tomorrow will bring its own questions.

And when it does, you will meet them with the experience, strength, and wisdom you have today.

Lesson Learned

Preparation can help you face tomorrow.

Worrying endlessly about tomorrow only steals the strength you need for today.

Heartfelt End

I hope you allow yourself to enjoy at least one beautiful moment today without asking what could go wrong tomorrow.

As the saying goes, “Yesterday is gone, tomorrow is not promised, but today is yours.”

So give your attention to the life that is happening now. That is where your strength, your joy, and your possibilities are waiting for you.
