It comes from a younger version of you who never felt fully safe, seen, or loved.
Your inner child is the emotional part of you that still carries old pain.
Maybe you grew up feeling ignored.
Maybe you had to be “strong” too early.
Maybe love felt conditional.
So now as an adult, you apologize too much.
You fear rejection deeply.
You struggle to rest without guilt.
And honestly?
Many women are walking around looking grown on the outside… while emotionally carrying a tired little girl inside.
Healing your inner child begins with awareness.
Start noticing your emotional triggers.
Ask yourself:
“Why does this hurt me so deeply?”
“Why am I afraid of disappointing everyone?”
“Why do I always feel like I’m not enough?”
Sometimes your reactions are connected to wounds you never got to process.
And healing doesn’t always require dramatic changes.
Sometimes healing looks like:
- speaking kindly to yourself,
- setting boundaries,
- resting without guilt,
- buying yourself flowers,
- or finally giving yourself the love you kept begging others for.
You cannot hate yourself into healing.
That younger version of you deserved patience.
She deserved comfort.
She deserved reassurance.
And she still does.
So stop calling yourself “too emotional.”
Stop shaming yourself for feeling deeply.
You survived in the best way you knew how.
Now it’s time to learn healthier ways to live… not just survive.
And maybe becoming HER means finally becoming the safe place you needed growing up.
