RECIPE FOR HEALING A BROKEN HEART

RECIPE FOR HEALING A BROKEN HEART

This keeps the emotional journey very clear: Feel → Acceptance → Self-Worth → Perspective → Time → Release → Begin Again.

Did you know.... to heal a broken heart isn’t to forget…
but to finally stop fighting what happened?

Heartbreak has a strange way of making us question everything.

Was I not enough?
Could I have done more?
Why did they leave?
How do I move forward when my heart still lives in the past?

There is no magic recipe for heartbreak.

But there is a recipe for healing.

First ingredient: Feel.

Don’t rush to be okay.
Cry if you need to.
Grieve what you lost & vent it out.

Second ingredient: Acceptance.

Acceptance doesn't mean you approve of what happened.

It means you stop arguing with reality.

Some endings don't need another explanation.
They simply need to be accepted.

Third ingredient: Self-worth.

Someone walking away does not make you less lovable.

Their choice is not a measurement of your value.

Remind yourself:
“I was worthy before they arrived, and I remain worthy after they leave.”

Fourth ingredient: Perspective.

One painful chapter is not your entire story.

What feels like the end today may eventually..... become the chapter where you discovered your own strength.

Fifth ingredient: Time.

Healing doesn't happen on a deadline.

Some days you'll feel strong.
Other days, a song, a photograph, or a memory may bring everything back.

That's not failure.

That's healing.

And finally… Release.

Release the need for an apology.
Release the need to understand every “why.”
Release the hope that the past will become different.

Healing isn't about finding your way back to who you were.

It's about becoming someone stronger, wiser, and more at peace.

As the quote goes... A broken heart doesn't mean a broken life.

Give it time.
Give it love.
And give yourself permission to begin again.
