Rachel's Life Reflections
Reflection No.1
Know Your Worth Before You Ask the World to Recognize It
"A person's value does not become greater when others recognize it, and it does not become smaller when others fail to see it."
One of the most important lessons life teaches us over time is that.... many of us spend years searching for validation outside ourselves.
We wait for appreciation, for recognition.
We wait for someone to notice our efforts, our sacrifices, and our intentions.
And without realizing it, we give other people the power to decide how we feel about ourselves.
The world will not always see your struggles.
It may not always understand your choices and recognize the strength it took for you to keep moving forward.
But that does not change your worth.
A diamond does not lose its value because someone does not recognize its brilliance.
The same is true for every person.
Your worth is not created by applause.
It is created by the values you carry, the kindness you show, the lessons you have learned, and the courage you have found during difficult times.
We need to stop abandoning ourselves while trying to be accepted by others.
Self-respect is not about thinking you are better than anyone else.
It is simply recognizing that you matter too.
Never measure your worth by the world's changing opinions.
Pause for a moment and ask yourself:
"Have I been waiting for someone else to recognize a value that I need to acknowledge ......within myself?"
Thank you for spending these few moments with me.
Carry this reflection with you today.
Your journey, your experiences, and your growth have already ....created a story worth honoring. And remember to keep smiling & shining cause you know you are Special.
