The Real Reason You're Not Confident (It's Not What You Think)
Let
me tell you something, I spent years waiting
to feel confident, bold and courageous.
You are never going to feel ready first. Confidence doesn't come before you achieve your goals. It comes after.
I
used to think confident people had something I was missing. Some inner
certainty, some unshakeable belief in themselves. So I waited. I waited until I
knew enough, looked the part, had the right credentials. I kept making myself
smaller while I waited to feel bigger.
And then one day I realized something that genuinely stopped me cold: the people I admired for their confidence? They were scared too. They were just doing it anyway.
Here's
the actual problem. It's not that you're not capable. It's not that you're not
smart enough or experienced enough. It's the voice in your head. The one that
edits your ideas before they leave your mouth. The one that says 'who do you
think you are?' every time you try to take up space.
That
voice was built over time — from criticism, from comparison, from moments where
you were made to feel like too much or not enough. And it became the narrator
of your whole life.
The lesson? You have to change the narrator before you can change the story.
Confidence
is a memory. Every time you do something that scares you and survive it, your
brain adds it to a file: 'I handled that.' Over time, that file becomes your
foundation. But you have to start taking Valued Actions.
You
don't start with the big scary thing. You start with the small thing you've
been avoiding. Send the email. Say the opinion. Wear the dress you are avoiding. Show up even
when you feel underprepared.
You can always change the script of your life. And boldness comes from withing and omce you develop your mind around it. Every Impossible Task will become as easy without overthinking it.
I
want you to identify one thing you've been holding back, because you didn't
feel confident enough. One thing. And I want you to do a version of it this
week — even an imperfect, scary, half-ready version.
Because you know what the most confident people I know have in common? They are deeply okay with being imperfect in public. That's it. That's the whole secret.
Stop
waiting to feel ready. Start building, Change your Narrative of your life Bring that Hero out that's been hiding inside you & watch the magic happen.
Be Positive and always keep smiling & shining cause you know your life is very special.
