"HOW TO STOP MEASURING YOUR LIFE AGAINST PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT LIVING YOUR STORY."
Sometimes it feels like everyone around you is ahead, building careers, getting married, achieving milestones….While you are still trying to figure things out.I know what it feels like. You are looking at the clock, checking out the digital highlights of people half your age, hitting milestones you haven't touched yet.And there's that voice whispering telling you've missed the boat !!! That window has closed. That You're Late.!!!!
You feel like you're running a race where everyone started a mile ahead of you. You're breathless, exhausted and wondering if there's even a point in finishing. But I want you to look at your hands for a second !!! these hands have carried you through seasons, those "early" achievers haven't seen yet.
YOU AREN'T LATE YOU'RE JUST IN YOUR OWN SEASON.
Some of the most beautiful things in this world take the longest to grow. An oak tree takes thirty years to even reach its stride, but it stands for centuries. A peach tree doesn't look at an apple tree and feel like a failure because it hasn't bloomed in April.They wait for their Sun. They wait for their Soil.
You are not behind. Everything unfolds at the exact time IT IS MEANT TO.
There is something no one tells you about life and that is this, “ Timing is never a Straight Line” Some women bloom early, some bloom later. And some take longer because life is shaping them into something deeper,stronger and more Intentional.
WHAT LOOKS LIKE A DELAY IS OFTEN A PROTECTION.
What feels like confusion is often preparation. You are not behind. You are being built.
And I know some nights you sit in silence and question yourself….
“Why am I not there yet”?
“Why is it taking so long”?
“Did I miss my chance”?
But hear this clearly….YOU CANNOT MISS WHAT IS MEANT FOR YOU. Life is not ignoring you. It is Aligning you.
And sometimes, the waiting season is not Punishment…it is Refinement. You are being shaped in the Unseen places, all those moments where no one claps for you, cause you are silently Surviving.I can give you Infinite Example of so many women achieveing milestones in their prime. These weren't last resorts they were culmination of a lifetime of experiences that made them Ready.
The years you think you "wasted" ? Well they were not. They were data. They were lessons. They were the "unseen" work. You were learning what you didn't want, so that when you finally find what you, Do Want, You'll be READY.
There is a specific kind of Magic in the late bloom. It's deeper. It's more Intentional. It's not fueled by ego or youthful desperation.....It;'s fueled by Truth.
And finally when your Time unfolds....You will understand why it took long ?
Because YOU WEREN'T DELAYED You were being prepared for something that requires depth, not speed. Trust your timing, even when it doesn't make sense yet.
And stop checking everyone else's watch. Their time zone isn't yours. You aren't late for a life that hasn't happened yet. You are arriving precisely at the moment your character matches the calling.
Take a deep breath, calm down. Release the guilt of the years gone by. They served their purpose. Your life isn't a Race to the finish line, It's a Journey toward Becoming. And today is the Perfect day to start.
